![]() They're high durability, having 2 wounds and a 2+ armour save, but due to the prevalence of instant death and things that ignore armour, they get chewed up a lot if players aren't careful.Ĭenturion Devastators see more use and they are either used as high durability, long-ranged fire support with lascannons and missile launchers (much more expensive than devastators, equal or less firepower overall, arguably more durable). Game wise, they're extremely expensive in money and points and their effectiveness is debatable. All space marines train in Centurion Warsuits at some point as part of their vehicle training. The suits themselves are not piloted by 1st Company Veterans as in terminators, but by Devastators or Assault Marines, the logic being that the suits lack tactical flexibility and focus on one combat style. It's important to note that the Centurion Warsuits are not ancient relics like Terminator Armour, but simple war machines. They're being manufactured and deployed fairly recently. That's the reason they haven't been seen until the 41st millennium. The lore behind Centurions is that their warsuits have been in existence for a very long period, but have only been recently cleared for use because lol imperium suspicious of technology. otherwise, we are all just people who enjoy the game.įeel free to message the Mods with any other ideas for ground rules, otherwise have fun!
